Deborah Agostino is Associate Professor in Accounting Finance and Control at Politecnico di Milano-School of Management, where she got a PhD in Management Engineering in 2012.

She is Associate Editor of European Management Journal, Board Member of IRSPM (International Research Society of Public Management), Co-chair of Public Service Accounting and Accountability Group (PSAAG), and Scientific Committee Member of the EIASM Public Sector Accounting and Accountability Conference.

Her research interests are related to the role of accounting and accountability practices connected with the diffusion of digital technologies in public sector institutions. The results of her research can be found in international leading journals, such as Accounting Auditing and Accountability Journal, Financial Accountability and Management or Public Management Review.
